Our volunteers are busy year-round sharing the love of Jesus Christ with individuals and families affected by disabilities. Our goal is to publish on the web a quarterly newsletter highlighting the events and activities happening around Albuquerque. If you do not have ready access to the web or would prefer to have a copy mailed to your home, please let us know.

“When God Weeps” Bible Study

This six part Bible study takes you deep into God’s Word to discover the meaning and purpose to pain and suffering in our lives. Each session is accompanied by a video/DVD presentation by Joni Eareckson Tada. A detailed leader’s guide and participant book help group discussion and personal discovery. This Bible study is ideal for youth and adults.

Wheels for the World
THE NEED - The World Health Organization estimates that over 18 million wheelchairs are needed worldwide.

COLLECTION – Used wheelchairs are gathering dust in closets, garages, storage units and dumpsters.

RESTORATION – Prison inmates at correctional facilities from across the country restore each wheelchair to like-new condition.

DISTRIBUTION – Teams of volunteers travel across the globe to demonstrate God’s unfailing love through the gift of mobility.

LIMA, PERU – November 3-13, 2006

TEAM MEMBERS – Physical/Occupational therapists, wheelchair mechanics, translators, photographer, story writer and support personnel needed.
